Admission for International Students

Required Documents

To apply, please prepare the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in your home country
  • Colored photo with a red background
  • High school certificate and transcript (translated into English or Indonesian if necessary)
  • Health certificate (medical check-up)
  • Copy of passport cover page (minimum 18 months before expiration) or birth certificate

Application Process

  1. Submit Your Application: Send your completed application and all required documents to internationaladmission@iainsorong.ac.id.
  2. Application Review: Our admissions committee will review your application and assess your eligibility.
  3. Interview: Selected candidates will be invited for an online interview.
  4. Admission Decision: You will receive an admission decision via email within a few weeks of submitting your application.
  5. Visa and Travel Arrangements: Once accepted, you will receive guidance on securing your student visa and preparing for your journey to Indonesia.

Scholarships

IAIN Sorong offers two types of scholarships for international students:

  • Rector’s Scholarship: Fully funded scholarship provided by the university.
  • Kemenag Scholarship: Fully funded scholarship provided by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
